Chris Weidman missed out on an opportunity to fight in his home state and he’s still reeling. At the start of the UFC 309 broadcast from Madison Square Garden in New York, it was announced that Weidman’s middleweight bout against Eryk Anders had been cancelled due to a medical issue on Anders’ side.
