Tropical Storm Sara is forecast to slog its way over Central America this weekend but lose organization before remnants make their way into the Gulf of Mexico and get sucked back to the east toward Florida next week.

Tropical Storm Sara is expected to dissipate over or near Mexico's Yucantan Peninsula early next week, eliminating the tropical threat to the U.S. Gulf Coast or Florida, according to the FOX 35 Storm Team and the National Hurricane Center.

The 18th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane was likely to flood parts of Central America and Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula over the coming days.
